Moving

Hoorah hoorah. We are moving the blog. It is moving to a space with near limitless potential. With this move, we will be constructing an online shoppe, and most excellent gallery.

Making the Most of it

Though AnimeNORTH is a ways away, we made the decision to work on product for it today. With a nice, sunny day, how could we not be working outside? So, as the frenzy began, we fell into quite a groove, paint and sort. Prime and finish. Not in that order, obviously, but each step was touched on.

Arrival

We arrived in Peterborough, without incident. Clear skies made for an excellent voyage, and with Andrew Cryer, artist extraordinaire as co-pilot, we arrived in fine fashion, on time and ready to rumble.  With an easy load in and set up, Phantasm 21.5 was a great success.

Seven Cases for the Good People of Peterborough

After some thinning of our ready stock, we have a full seven crates of loot for the good people of Peterborough. With fair skies predicted for tomorrow, it should be a good trip.

Red John will meet you on the Fourth Dawn

The past two days have been full of paint and plan. Since there was a brief period of time of double digit temperatures, I took full advantage of said temperatures, and a productive session it was.

Make Ready to Sail the High Skies

It was unusually warm today, and since there are things I can only do when it is warm, I decided to do just that. It was so warm today that in the sun, I only needed a t-shirt.  Not too shabby for the first week of March, but I do wonder what the summer shall bring.

The Expansionists Abound

On the note of expansion, though a larger workshop may or may not be in the cards right now, what is in the cards is a bigger and better online experience with TallGear Industrial.  At the moment, we would migrate our little WordPress blog here, and link our Etsy and Facebook pages. Playing around with this interface, and my limited and dated web design experience point me towards a pretty cool hosting site.  I like their control panel interface, they provide great stats and service for the money spent.

It’s the Power of Rot

There are few sequels that meet or exceed expectations laid out by what came before, but I do not think I have ever been, or will ever be more disappointed in the abomination of utter crap that I have witnessed and paid good money to see.  If I had the choice, I would rather get back the two hours I sat i agony than the money. If you haven’t already been duped into seeing it, I highly recommend avoiding Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance. Absolute rubbish.

A Six in One Special

We have been feverishly working on some chainmaille and the end results are becoming quite impressive. It’s like a machine of ring bending and weaving, and although we are not a chainmaille factory, sitting down and completing a project, or series of projects can be therapeutic.  Who couldn’t use a little therapy.
